Our Ambrosia production lines are the first of its kind, introduced from the US, which operates with high efficiency, stability, and a high degree of automation. From equipment installation, testing to formal production, our technical staff from the United States constantly works with us online to monitor and ensure all of our products are produced in accordance with our demanding U.S. standards.
Ambrosia makes use of changes in physical characteristic where like charges repel each other and unlike charges that attract. In flocking, the fibers we use have negative charges, which allow them to adhere vertically into the adhesive - coated surface of the fabric substrate.
Our Ambrosia base fabrics are made of soybean fiber, bamboo fiber and other quality environmentally friendly substances.
Ambrosia products are formaldehyde-free. This is highly important for use in environmentally sensitive living and work areas. Our products have undergone rigorous lab testing for environmental qualities and have been certified United States and recommended for use in Green Buildings, hospitals, medical facilities, kindergartens, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and other places which have high requirements on air quality.
Ambrosia carpet tiles are manufactured with an average of 80 million fibers per square meter which provides superior sound-absorbing qualities. This feature is significantly more effective than ceramic tile, wood, marble and other traditional flooring materials. It not only improves the sound environment for hospitals and schools, but also provides a more intimate personal space in homes, offices and other facilities where peace and quiet is required. More importantly, Ambrosia possesses a unique non-slip feature, which greatly reduces the chance of slip and falls by the elderly and children.
Ordinary fabrics and carpets can easily absorb dust, dirt, odors and the growth of bacteria and mites. For example, if you look at human hair under a 1000-x microscope, you will find its surface rough and attracts dirt and particles. However, if we perform the same test on Ambrosia fibers, we find the surface smooth and resist dust, mites, bacteria and dirt, so less cleaning is required; a gentle vacuuming is all that is necessary. This is the Ambrosia lotus-effect: water repellent and mildew proof.
Ambrosia products are highly durable and have high wear capabilities. Traditional carpet products meet the internationally recognized Martindale wear index of 25,000 rpm; Ambrosia’s wear index is 250,000 rpm or more. Ambrosia products are much easier to clean than conventional products. For cleaning extremely difficult jobs such as, oil, red wine, coffee, condiments, etc., just using a damp cotton towel, wet the area to be cleaned and wipe until clean. There is never a need to use harsh chemical agents for cleaning purposes. This saves money on cleaning and maintenance.
Ambrosia carpet tiles are 50cm x 50cm. If one tile is damaged, just rearrange it with another in a non-conspicuous location, without replacing the entire carpet. Laid through cross displacement, its life can be extended up to 20 years thus reducing environmental pollution, leaving a clean environment for future generations. Because of its ease of cleaning feature, Ambrosia can save water and energy.
Ambrosia has passed very stringent fire-retardant and smoke density certification requirements in the United States and Europe for use in maritime and aviation. Our fabric and upholstery products have met and passed the highest international standards and received certifications for environmental protection, antistatic, wear-resistance, water repellent, anti-stain and other functional uses.
